POEMS I LIKE

City No More

Tears rolling on wet cheeks
A mother of two
Standing before shattered walls
No windows no roofs
Where once was her home
Parents and children
Whom she had
Promised to come back soon
Were swallowed by
The cruel Tsunami
Came when she was away
Her searching eyes
Where are they ? where are they?
Folded hands looking towards sky
She was crying why? why?
Shivering body fell unconscious
Carried back by ambulance
Without horns on empty road
The city was no more
But the waves were still roaring
On the sea shore.

Loved Someone

This life is short so take your chances
It’s your time for a little romance
Even if he turns you down
Your love for him will never drowned
When it’s all said and done
At least you know that you loved someone

Sisters By Love

Some Many Young Lives
Have Passed My Way
And Just As Quickly As They Came
They Were Taken
But None Affected Me As Deeply
My Sister
Not By Blood
My Sister By Love
Time Has Passed Quickly
Since You Were Taken From Us
So Violently
Yet Not A Day Goes By
That I Dont Think About
That I Dont Wonder About The What Ifs
I Try To Honor Your Memory
But I Dont Think I Could Ever Do You Justice
Yet From Now Until The End
We Will Always Be
Sisters By Love
And One Day
I Know You Will Be Waiting For Me
